If you look around SharkFOO, you’ll see me pimping Site5.com adverts here and there. I have a reason for that… I run several of my sites on Site5.com servers. I’ve been using them since the late 90’s and the main reason why I’ve stuck with them for so long is the customer service.
Customer service is a big deal for me, especially when your dealing with a web host that you’ll probably never meet, and a facility you’ll probably never visit. Not once have I had a problem that took more than, at max, 2 hours to resolve. Even though their prices may be a little higher than most, I’d rather pay a few extra dollars to know the fact that when I need help I can get it.
They have a pretty slick Dashboard they call the “Backstage”. I took a few snapshots so you can see what It looks like behind the scenes.

In the support section, you can open new tickets, view, edit, or close old tickets.

This is the server control panel, you can host multiple sites and email addresses from one account.
Everything is setup as a simple point and click type interface, and I’ve never had any problems figuring out how things work or how to set stuff up. They also have very active and helpful Forums, and even their own Wiki.
